I usually take photos of my girlfriends, the friendship we have, our moments, but this I challenged myself to take more self portraits and staying in my photographic goals to take the female body with honesty. I call my series Inner Journey. Taking these photos were like an autopsy to find peace with myself, with my camera, and observe myself. Taking a real look with a lot of sincerity. I started taking photos of me at the age of 22, when I asked myself why I was so rude about my body. Through my camera, I allowed myself to experiment my puberty again. I’m not a monster if I have stretch marks, blood every month, body rolls and body hair.
